About the role
Create clear, structured training programs that clients can confidently follow in the NUTRA app. You’ll develop phased plans, including 16-week programs where appropriate, that follow the NUTRA Blueprint and support different client experience levels.
This role is suited to a detail-oriented fitness professional who enjoys planning workouts, building progressions, and translating a program brief into practical instructions.
Program design
Review the program brief, intended goals, client experience level, available equipment, and relevant limitations.
Identify missing information and clarify it before finalizing the plan.
Develop structured training phases aligned with the NUTRA Blueprint.
Select exercises and establish appropriate sets, repetitions, rest periods, and progression guidance.
Adapt program structure and exercise options for different client levels.
Provide alternatives when equipment or practical constraints call for them.
App integration and quality control
Build and organize workouts accurately in the NUTRA app.
Add concise instructions and coaching cues that help clients understand what to do.
Use suitable exercise demonstrations where available within the platform.
Check exercise names, instructions, workload, and formatting for consistency.
Review the completed program from the client’s perspective before handoff.
Confirm the program is integrated into the app and ready for the intended coaching workflow.
Communication and handoff
Coordinate with the team when program details or intended client needs require clarification.
Explain important programming choices and flag concerns requiring a coach’s attention.
Keep program versions and handoff notes organized to avoid confusion.
Raise requests outside your professional scope rather than making unsupported assumptions.
Requirements
Degree in a related field.
Minimum 2 years of in-person personal training experience.
Proven client results.
Personal training certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) or National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
Strong knowledge of exercise selection, progression, and individualized training design.
Clear writing, close attention to detail, and confidence building workouts in digital coaching software.
Compensation
$40 per written program, with up to 20 programs per week. Twenty paid programs would total $800. Program volume and weekly earnings are not guaranteed.
